The ever lovely Julie decided to ignore the fact that I do not have an artistic bone in my body, but remembered the fact that I do like wine and meeting new people, so she was sweet enough to invite me along on a tumblr get together last night. 

The wonderful Rachel planned out the whole event and so many girls came out - such a fun night! We were graced with perfect weather, good tunes, plenty of wine and snacks, and making lots of new friends. I knew I liked Rachel right away when we were both hovering near the bar area avoiding our paintings, while everyone else was getting their creativity on. 

It was great to have the opportunity to meet new friends (photo stolen from Rachel’s blog)…

And of course I always love any time I can catch up with Julie and we can drink wine and laugh throughout the night. Cheers to that and another get together soon! (Please ignore the fact that it looks like a four year old is responsible for my painting).
