Smile Friday: The Rehearsal Dinner Edition
Last weekend Mo and I packed up our bags and headed to Indiana for Laura and Matt’s wedding. Friday night was the rehearsal dinner, that definitely set the ball rolling for the weekend. The groom’s father invited each of the bridal party to say a few words (other than blurting out “Marriage is Amazing!” I cannot quite recall what I said. But clearly I was eloquent as always). The night was perfectly about Laura and Matt and their incredible families and friends that love them so much. Some highlights of the night (for me): watching all my girlfriends get a lot more tan as the evening progressed (apparently the spray tan guidelines don’t lie, it will develop over a few hours), hearing each of the bridesmaids talk about Laura, Laura’s mom giving her toast, drinks with my closest friends, Mo being mine (and basically all the girls) date, Erin somehow suggesting to Matt’s dad that Mo should give a toast (he did - much to my surprise), spending time with Laura and Matt’s families, and most of all.. seeing how happy Laura and Matt are.
