Hilarious beyond words →
Rarely do I share these kinds of things but this is a must read. Hilarious! Tears are still streaming down my face and Mo had to actually ask me to leave the room because I was laughing and crying so loud while he was trying to finish working. I’m not even sorry. All the credit to katiekaboom’s brothers for sharing. A fantastic sense of humor is clearly embedded in their genes.

Off to the Ottakringer Brewery Tour because…  It is Friday. Mo and I already done with work. And the weather claims it may rain - so we figured this was a good rainy day indoor activity.

A note on running
Apparently it takes me being in another country to pick up this activity. (or the lack of a Pure Barre studio, spinning studio, really any other form of exercise). But somehow I have. However, it should be noted that there is a special place in hell for people who feed birds along what is clearly marked as a running/biking path. I have enough obstacles to overcome where running is concerned...

Personal pity post.. Living across the country is tough. I’ve had many friends get married, celebrate birthdays, have anniversaries, house warmings, etc and unfortunately I can’t go. Flying back and forth is tough and expensive and Mo just really isn’t buying off on my idea of the purchase of a jet (you can put those on lay away, right?) But the toughest of all these things is my friends having...

I have a new appreciation for New Yorkers. Or, well, anyone who walks to a grocery store and therefore has to VERY carefully think out what they will purchase and then how they will carry it home.  My wine intake alone makes this a (very) daunting (and heavy) task. Apparently I have found my cardio option in Vienna.

On things happening
since basically around January a lot of things have been up in the air. and i am learning as much as i believe i am a “go with the flow” kind of person, i don’t always handle uncertainty so well.  on monday mo took his boards. HUGE. i felt like i was on my death bed (he says allergies, i threw out SARS, strep throat, and yellow fever) i am still on the mend and can’t wait...

This past weekend (yup, a little late to the game on sharing what went down) was great. We had wonderful weather and it was the perfect combination of great events, time with friends, and relaxing around the house.  Saturday was spent in the sunshine at the Cuegrass Festival outside The Pit in downtown Raleigh. There were bands, $5 beers, and of course BBQ sandwiches (so good, I should’ve...

Oh what’s happening over here on a lively Thursday evening? Just me googling “how do dogs perceive time?” to find out if Lou is ever going to forgive me for leaving him for five weeks or if he (and I) are going to be scarred for life. I clearly have some separation issues when it comes to our dog. Send ALL your Xanax.

Fire/EMS/Police/etc are my heroes
lifebyliz: To run IN, when everyone else is running OUT is true bravery. I am thankful for those men, and women.  100% completely agree. My heart breaks for what happened in Boston. Thoughts and prayers for everyone.

We went from juicing, eating clean, and running to drinking all the tiny beers yesterday and eating our weight in Chinese food today. Oh how the mighty have fallen.

Things that I feel should be common sense when walking/jogging/running: 1. When you have to stop, for whatever reason, maybe move to the side of the road/trail/sidewalk. When you chose to just stop in the middle of one of those areas, there is a strong chance someone will run into you, or other people, as we all try and harness our cross training skills and leap around you like idiots. 2. In...
